Congrats!!! Does she shoot a rifle too? Was curious. I've got a 10 yr old daughter that I believe is ready to start shooting her own. Was just curious at what I should get for her. I've been suggested a .243. What you think?

really nice deer and experience. I do agree that it wouldn't take much to take an old extreeme, cut the barrel down to 20" and shorten the stock. Or I'm sure (with out a scope) you could come up with some sort of a cocking tool to give her a little more leverage.
