Default Round ball sabots

A buddy of mine is going to use his TC Hawken for the first time in many years. Pulling out his old gear, he plans to shoot round balls in sabots. Apparently quite some time ago they made sabots for round balls as an alternative to using patches/pillow ticking. I think I remember seeing them in the TC manuals that still come with their guns. My buddy still has some from way back.

Question is, do they still make these sabots for round balls? If not, I'm going to have to help him get used to either modern bullet/sabot combos or conicals.

Hornady still makes them. Instead I would try and convince him to just load a .490 roundball and patch it. Usually the accuracy is better and the ball a little bigger.
