My season is SHOT!
#12
Hello BPS. I understand your dilemma. At age 41 (I am 53 now) I went back to college FT for my RN degree and worked PT as well for those 9 semesters + study 5-6 hrs PER DAY for 4.5 yrs as well as work, and work on our home. Needless to say - I hadn't hunted since 2001 and just got back into it this year again (2012) after having 'retired' when I started college in 2002. Must say I missed it dearly since starting my hunting career at age 14. My advice?
1) Do the best you can. If it's 1-2x per month you get to get out hunting - so be it...
2) This isn't forever. It is what it is and we pay our dues sometimes in lieu of a better job, career, income, etc.
3) Keep your chin up....it will get better!
God Bless!
