I need a lighter scope mount. It seems a one piece mount like that could be aluminum, and still be solid.

yeah aluminum would lighten it up but im not sure i'd trust the cheap stuff. That durasight is a good rock solid mount. I doubt you'd notice the difference anyway.

Yeah, it couldn't be a cheap mount.

The solid aluminum one piece DNZ Game Reaper mount I have sitting on my shelf weighs just under 3 oz. Maybe you can get one that will work.

Wow, after 3 months it arrived!

Range report? Why is hammer spur on left side? I did not think you were a lefty.

I was wondering when someone would make that observation
I'd be interested in knowing the answer, if one is forth coming.
Maybe they ship on the left side or right side depending on who puts the gun together and then the buyer puts it on whichever side is right for him. then again , some things are always a mystery.

muley ordered an MR and so i went about trying it as a lefty to report back on, felt odd for me, but as snug as a bug on the right side.

I wont be using mine this year due to not wanting to put shims or expoxy on the barrel so i can get an accuracy test after the season is over, i have another busy sept and october with hunts.
