I was unsuccessful on Elk as expected but so far I have
Archery antelope for buck and doe, archery deer for buck and doe, archer deer for Nebraska for buck and doe, fall turkey , and the wife and I both drew a buck and doe for the unit I wanted so we can hunt together for mulies or whitetail During rifle season. . Still have to wait on draws for firearms antelope , muzzleloader and refuge tags but so far so good. I'm looking forward to getting back to hunting here on the 18th if I can get within bow range of a speed goat.

I was only able to come away with a draw on an 'Extra" doe tag. Missed on two late season cow tags.
For the regular season I have purchased a whitetail deer tag, either sex, and a 'A' elk tag which allows me a ML cow elk hunt for 9 days in the beginning of December.
Oh and a fall turkey tag...

muzzy bull for me as well. My dad and brother both got cow tags, my brother also drew a doe tag.
I have a backup plan in new mexico for rifle season. A friend of my brother in laws offered us a land vouchers tag if colorado doesn't work out.

Drew a whitetail doe tag for the Northern hills near Spearfish. It is a long drive.
Drew a prairie deer tag where the tanker went down. This is an any deer tag. Scouted it, there is a lot of National Forest in this unit, and some BLM. Had never seen this country before; it looks good. This is a super long drive.
Just purchased new tires for the truck, which i will be putting a lot of wear on this season.
Drew a hills turkey tag. Perhaps i may end up with a 'trophy' beard. I wonder if they save?

MN changed their draw areas last year, so to hunt the farm I don't have to draw for an either sex anymore. This year I'm limited to one either sex, over the counter tag. They also ended the lottery on fall turkey, as they've had over a thousand leftover tags that don't sell the last few years. So I may try turkey hunting too.
