Default My new Flintlock!

Bought this a while back but I am just getting around to posting some pics. It is a custom built gun. 36" green mountain barrel. Everything is engraved even all of the screw heads. Takes a .500" ball and .015" patch and it drives tacks. Of course I am only good for about 20-30 shots offhand because it is rather heavy.

Very nice rifle. A custom rifle is just a nice addition. Something I have always planned but also always talked myself out of.

It was second hand. I can not afford a new one! The pictures do the rifle no justice. I just couldn't pass up the price when the man told me what he wanted.

Fine looking gun Shooter. How much does it weigh?

I think Pluckit is looking for one like that.

Not sure on the weight. The barrel is 36" long and I believe 15/16" accross the flats maybe 1" but I don't think so. The stock runs to the end of the barrel (full stock). And it is maple. Will try to rig it up on my fishing scale a little later.
