Default Williams Peep sight

Got one off Muley, Question is. I haven't used a peep since I completed hunters ed class. That was on a 22 LR. When I try it on my CVA Wolf do I use the standard screw hole that the factory sights used or so I use a scope mount hole to bring it closer to my eye?

you shoud have the peep close to your eye. I use scope mount holes.

You saw it mounted on my gun you knucklehead.

You use the rear two scope mount holes.

MD, think of the eye relief on your favorite scope.

This is my rifle with the Williams Peep Sight. As you can see it is mounted very far back on the rifle. This makes for an excellent sight picture and a good shooting rifle.
