Here are two "Lolly Pop" type tang sights that look really simple and useful to me.
The first one is a simple thumb screw from the hardware store with a hole drilled in it, and a knurled nut. It's adjustable for elevation, but not windage. ![]() ![]() The second one is more sophisticated. It's adjustable for both windage and elevation. It looks to be factory made, but wouldn't be that difficult to fabricate at home. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

You probably have better vision than me. Which doesn't take much.
Anyway, for me the closer I get a peep to my eye the better I can focus on the front sight. A little round dot on my glasses works the best, but it's too slow to line up in hunting situations. |
Got it today from muley! Looks pretty cool, I will try it tomorrow and sight it in with powerbelts to see if i like it or not. Seems like a good sight though and the front globe sight comes up into view naturally.
Have to check the truck out and make sure everything is ok and then my dad, brother and i are heading up into the mountains. I think he wants to find some of those elk from last weekend lol. |
