I had to flip a coin over this one, since the answercan only be ONE.
The flip of the coin was between my 2 Remington 700's one a 50 and the other a 54.
The 50 used to be the easiest to keep on target year after year because of the sabot slection and my favorite gun shop stocking the ones I use year after year.
But many years ago (six), Ya thats really a bunch, Sabot loader sent me some MMP purple 50 cal sabots to try out in the 54. He also said I could buy them from MMP direct. Now I seem to only want to shoot and hunt with the 54 cal. That thing is accrite beyound belief and that 300gr. 50cal golddot does a number on the bucks shot with them.

The 54 won the coin flip.

I thought about it and decided I should let my gun cabinet tell me which way to vote. TRADITIONS. It seems they are taking up all the room in there.

I had to vote other because I have a combo that includes a custom curly maple stock, T/C Hardware (caplock) and GM 32" 1:70 twist .54 cal barrel. That rifle stacks balls on top of each other at 50 yds if I do my part.

I have computer glasses, so it's only half blurry.

Well how in the world can a muzzleloader you don't own be your favorite?

It could be one you can't afford.
