Default New Rifle

In my thread "I guess I'm lucky" I asked you guys to guess what the rifle was I just got delivered by Federal express. Nobody bothered so I figure you guys really don't care or you don't like guessing games. Well if it's the first I'm sorry to hear that. But if it's the second I suppose I'll tell yo what it was. The answer wouldn't have been that hard to guess. It was the one I posted about in my thread "Hard To Resist".
It's a Traditions Buckstalker. It has a 24 inch barrel with 1 in 28 inch twist rifling. It came with a Traditions 3x9x32 scope, rings and bases.

No, you did not ask us to guess Pluckit.

You must have been hanging around with Bronko and caught his Oldtimers Disease. He imagines things a lot too.

My comment in your other post mentioned I thought you got a 50 caliber Deerstalker to fill out your collection. But I remember you telling about that rifle you got. It looks nice. I have read a few posts on them and they seem to be good shooting rifles.

I am not good at guessing games, but nice looking gun. I hope to read the range report as soon as it cools down enough to shoot.

I guess I'm lucky.

I ordered a new muzzleloader, guess which one, and the tracking information said it was supposed to be delivered yesterday. When I went to bed last night it had not come. Just a short while ago I checked the tracking information and it said "Delivered". "Left at front door." So I immediately got up and open the door to see it laying there. It had been there all night. I guess I'm lucky I live in a decent neighborhood. I'm going to go and open the box and look at it now!

I think once I fill out my collection of all four calibers of the Traditions Deerhunter rifle with the .50 caliber I will be finished collecting. But if I were to ever change my mind, my thought now would be to save up and buy a Mountaineer. Then call it quits.

I said the same thing a couple dozen rifles ago. It never ends. Although this year, I have been pretty well behaved. Other then that Sig Sauer .22 rifle. Congratulations on your new rifle. That was one reason I looked at that T/C and the CVA Electra rifle so hard.

The mountaineer is long and heavy. Are you sure you wish to end your life with one of them?

Well if you had put the dang thing in red in the first place I wouldn't have missed it!

A White would be another option but I don't like the fact that they are no longer in production. Although that has never stopped me from purchasing a muzzleloader before.
