Default Question on sites for Colorado elk muzzle loader.

I looked up the regulations for colorado elk muzzle loaders. Found this
"
Only open or iron sights allowed in muzzleloading seasons. Fiber optics
and fluorescent paint incorporated into or on open or iron sights are
legal. Scopes or any sighting device using artificial light, batteries and
electronic gear are prohibited during muzzleloading seasons"

Now I have a question can I use a iron peep sight with this set up? with the word or in that first line I am guessing it leaves the door open for that. But I would hate to get a set up ready to go and find out the hard way that I have the wrong site.

Do any of the experts here have a peep and use it for colorado muzzle loader elk season? Or are the "peeps" out of the spirit of the regulations?

Thanks for any help.

Peep sights are iron sights, and are legal.

Been using a peep in Colorado for at least 15 years and will this fall! I have a williams rear peep and a front fiberoptic bead.
