I took the Traditions .45 caliber Deerhunter back to the range today, I had to because I had sinned again and put a scope on it. Please forgive me. I just couldn't seem to put 3 shots together. I shot a couple of good 2 shot groups though. All the shots I took today were with a .40 caliber, 180 grain XTP in a light blue Harvester .45 caliber sabot on top of 70 grains of 3f Goex touched off with a #11 Winchester mag. cap. I love shooting a rifle that doesn't hurt and this one is pretty gentle with your shoulder. Even with no real recoil pad.

how are you doing your shooting? Ive had the best luck with my gun when i swab out the bore after each shot. I take a ramrod with a undersized brush on it, wrap the brush with a tc seasoned pad and run it thru after each shot, so basically i have the same amount of fouling in the bore for each. My groups became much more consistent after i started doing that
