Default Disappointed big time

Waited 2 weeks for my glasses to come in, i tell the girl that letters look fuzzy around the edges.... Ohhhh your prescription changed a lot since your last paid, give it a couple days. I go shooting today, target is nice and clear, open both eyes and i see 2 front sights, close my left eye, one sight, nice and clear.

I close my right eye " shooting eye" and open the left.. Yeeep, blurry as fudge and i cant even see the 12" black target, just a big smear

if you cant see any better than that, then i officially challenge you to a shooting match.

actually ,sorry to hear that.I understand as with trifocals i often have to shoot without glasses rather than find the right part to look through.

Good luck

BLAH!!! My shooting eye is bad too! What idiots! I have to make a 220 mile round trip just to tell them, you screwed up!

Late evening shooting is horrible. I see 2 front sights and 2 1/2 rear sights! I can see the bulls eye pretty clear but with all those sights, I cant even keep it in a 12" target!

Getting old sucks! Without glasses i can only see a 3" bulls eye at 10 yards. Blind as a bat flying during the day

I see 2 front sights and 2 1/2 rear sights!
Under those circumstances, at least looking at the money in your wallet will make you happy.

If I use my distance glasses to try and shoot open sights, I always see the target clearly but two front sights. In other words, if they correct so that your distance vision is clear, they can't make the near vision clear. Not sure what your solution is, but I end up sighting over the top of my glasses. I have to settle for a blurry target and clear front sight. Your rear sight will always be blurry no matter what, but you have to figure out a way to get that front sight clear.

My wife was like that and she had 2 different contacts (they call it monovision) one for close and one for distance. Now she had Lasik done and can see great. Only bad thing is she sees me clearer too.

I go to a store that has a rack of the reading glasses. I find a pair that I can see the lead of a pencil clear at arms length. Not as good as new eyes but they work pretty well for me and open sights.
