I survived and I'm back!
Hello all,
I have not been on here since 2008. I was injured in Iraq and had undergone quite a bit or surgery and recovery time. Needless to say a broken back complete right shoulder repair and 3 fused fingers on my left hand don't leave me to much to poke on a keyboard. However, I am as well as I can be and happy as a lark. I am retiring 31 August 2012. I never thought that I would make it this far. Any ways I just wanted to say howdy and I have been hiding in the shadows reading and laughing abunch. Thanks for keeping me occuppied over the last few years. Thanks and HAAPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!! God 29 years, 11 months and 29 days and a handful of hours....Go ahead sign me up again...Daa...huh...

Welcome back Slow Burn. Congratulations on your survival and toughing it out (as I'm sure you must have done). I honor your service, strength, and great attitude.
I'm also glad you're enjoying a little time with the jokers on this forum. Well, all except Muley of course.

Welcome back! and congrats on the retirement... I did the same thing a long while back after Nam...
The best thing you said in your post...
Let me say one pointed thing... build on that statement and keep building... If you ever need help - go get it! and do not hesitate...
OK so muzzleloading - welcome back to the sight... As you must already know their are some really good people here...
Just out of curiosity where will your home be and what are you gonna be shooting?

Welcome back and thanks for your service to the USA. Congrats on your upcoming retirement. Get to the VA for your service connection after you retire.
i retired from the US Army 31 October, 1979.

Same as what everybody else said - Welcome back, but more than that thanks for your service to our country. Don't hesitate to ask for help if you need it. Chances are there's somebody on here that lives kinda close to you.
