62 degrees this morning, not really any wind. Two smokeless 3 shot groups at 100yds sabotless.
Rem 700ML .45 Pacnor fluted Sendero 1-22 twist
Leupold V-XR 4-12x40
Rem 700 SPS stock dipped in Winter Minicry (The Dipper Chick)

225gr XPB's

250gr TEZ's

Almost a one holer. Shot 3 just a shade high.

That's terrific Omega45. I wonder how many Rem 700 cartridge rifles can shoot groups like that.
How tight are those XPBs in the bore?

Wow, wow, that is some mighty fine shooting!!
Do you use a wad? One reason i ask, is because i tried the 300g Deep Curl in my 45 caliber Omega. I had no wads. The bullets key holed into a 100 yard target. Then i cut the petals off of tan sabot, and used them for wad. Them bullet worked better with the 'wad'.

Ron,
I used Eastern Maine dry wool wads. I wanted to try the lubed ones also today but they were accidently left on the reloading bench at home.

Im surprised these dry wads are not more popular. They are even designed to handle smokeless. Plus they are cheap.
