Sharpshooter...

I see you pulled off one heck of a swap to come up with a new 52 cal Mountaineer.
Have you had a 52 before? You are now joining the ranks of us 52 shooters... We are not the largest group on the ML scene, but I really think once you shoot that gun you will see why myself and others have chosen to use it.
The availabilty of bullets has really increased especially with the advent of the 220 grain Bloodline. Hornady's production of the FTX even provides another avenue to follow.
Looking forward to some discussions and pictures about shooting that big guy across the wide open SD landscape...

About it. I probably won't have the mountaineer for a couple weeks. I do have a 52 disc . I only shot it once . That was with the FTX. Which bloodline do you think is best for the 52?

Another bullet that Dave makes that is not on the Knight chart is a .458-300 grain Buffalo Bullet. I call it a buffalo bullet because he makes it for 45-70 shooters. He has some great stories about some buffalo harvests using that bullet.
You can see it pictured in this photo. It is a long one, but in that 1-26 it will shoot lights out + be devastating. I think Dave told me it had a little heavier nose on it (petals slightly heavier)

Now you could get you a good tactical scope and launch this across the landscape?
