Not really. Gun reviewers who write for magazines , etc that get paid for advertising, and get equipment to test usually always write positive reviews versus a consumer who buys a gun retail for himself with no bias .

Have you cleaned out the gunk it comes with from the factory?

I didn't say anything about creep or no creep; just that the reviews you reference are written by gunwriters with factory supplied rifles which are probably tuned. We don't know for sure they are tuned. But to be truly unbiased, the gunwriter would have to by a CVA with his own cash and a local store. Then he could comment on the trigger of a rifle that any man could buy.

I'm really picky about triggers. So is my gunsmith. We both agree that the CVA triggers are very good with no creep. I'm not sure what you guys are feeling, but something is wrong here. I'm being honest about this. You might find complaints about CVA guns, but the trigger shouldn't be one of them.

Seriously, i'm on a lot of forums, and i've never seen a negative comm ent on the trigger before. Never seen one on Jon's forum.

I think you guys are just pulling my chain.

Well, that would be me, and you don't believe that either.

they arent tuned, a ton of my members shoot cva and they all report on how great the triggers are. Its one of the best selling points, especially on the V2

Yes, and mine is actually a v1 . It has a fairly nice trigger but it does have some creep. It is better than many other guns but still not as nice as my Mountaineer . Believe what you want or come visit and shoot it yourself and see if I'm telling the truth

You know what MH, you are probably right! I didn't think about it too much until you said it. I guess I am pulling your chain a little bit. No hard feelings?

Not at all. I do it all the time.

The facts are plain. In my house there are 3 Accura. Two are Accura. One is an Accura V2. They are good shooting rifle. They have nice trigger. However, myself i have noticed time and time again, the trigger of all Accura here creep. It isn't much. It isn't obnoxious. On the other hand the trigger of the Omega in this house, is near perfect. They break clean. They have zero creep. Those are the facts. Wishes won't change these facts, nor will statements by others, nor will links, nor will reviews. I know what i know; that is how it is. It is what it is.

What is important to me when i read these forum is truth. Some writers here are not so very keen on truth. That is their problem, not mine. What my mind does is filter what i read by the name on the post.

My first post to this thread was made because a direct slam was made directed toward TC rifle, otherwise i would have kept out of it. As i have mentioned before, you CVA advocates could refrain from slamming other brands. The choice is yours. In general, Knight advocates, and TC advocates don't incessantly belittle CVA rifle.
