Most of the reviews i've read on the Accura have said it was the best trigger they ever flt on any muzzleloader. I feel zero creep in the ones i've owned. Even the low priced wolf has no creep. I showed it to my gunsmith one time, and he said it feels like a custom trigger.
When I squeeze the trigger I never know when it's going off. That's a sign of no creep. The only TC I had was an omega. The trigger was just average. So, there's two opinions on opposite ends of the scale. Try the triggers and decide for yourself. |
Well of course! Most of the reviews are written by CVA advocates like yourself. I have long thought it strange that i could purchase 3 Accura, and all three have just a wee bit of creep, whereas all you advocate, write the trigger is just marvelous!

Another minor issue with CVA, is they are not reliable igniting BH209. Truly it is minor, and can be readily fixed, but it is an issue. CVA sells aftermarket, a breech plug that is reliable for igniting BH209, but you pay extra, and you must take the initiative to purchase one. Notice that you never read this in a CVA ad, nor did any of the CVA spokespersons here, mention this trivial little fact.

I said reviews. Not from owners. I'll see if I can find one for you.
I find it strange that none of mine had creep, and yours does. Like I said. If someone is interested in buying one. Go try in first in a shop. |
Here you go. I can find a lot more just like it. Notice his words.."zero creep".

Normally I skip the threads about CVA. However this one is interesting.

You're too suspicious. You missed the part where he went to a shop and checked another one for pull. If it had creep. he would have said something. Creep is really noticeable when you check for pull weight.
The fact is. The triggers have no creep. Why don't you see CVA owners complaining about creep? Other than Ron, i've never seen it. You know everybody would complain if it was there. |
