Don't you have to drill out a hole for the ram rod though

It should be easy with a router or laminate trimmer. Make sure you clamp some type of straight edge to the stock to serve as a guide for the router. It would be really tough to do freehand!

Boyd's is making stocks for Knight and other muzzys, they might even do that for you if you ask.

Ok because I really don't like synthetic and if I could get a wooden stock without having to drill a ram rod hole that would be great

I am not sure that they ever built any wood stocks for the Rem ML. Several have taken ADL stocks and reworked them.

Boyd's Thumbhole Laminated Varmint ADL will fit your gun, $117 shipped. You can get a collapsible ramrod from smokelessmz.com that you carry in your pack or on your belt in the provided sheath.

Also do you have to use the Thumbhole Laminated Varmint series or can you use the classic remington stocks as long as its a remington 700 adl short action
