Default Renegade load work

Tried a new load out today in the 1:60 twist renegade. 100gr Pyrodex RS, Wad, .018" ticking, .530" round ball at 50 yards off my tack driver bag rest.

After those shots i switched to a thinner .015" patch and 90gr RS and roughly got a 9" group at 70 yards. Not good! Shes a tack driver with 80gr RS and this patch, but she pukes with that extra 10 grains.

Tomorrow I will go back to 70 yards with that 100gr load and see how she does with the .018" patch. Accuracy looks very promising.

Ya` gotta love a 50 yard group like that with an iron sighted sidelock. Good shooting Devil.

Not bad, my eye sight in late evening looks to be very very VERY poor on a 3" bulls eye at 100 yards. POI was far to the right on the first shot, make some click adjustments to the left and knocked out the bulls eye, next shot hit about 4" above that. Not bad, I know I can see better during mid day so tomorrow I will give it another crack and make any adjustments.

That 100gr load has quite a thump to it!

When I get a good group like that at 50 yards it really makes my day. Very good shooting there.

When I see that gun picture I have to admire the stock finish. Please remind me what you used.

My #2 possibles bag. I love the capper/palm saver deal i set the bag up with, no having to fumble around looking for those 2 items, they are right there when needed. I used speed loaders today to keep the grease off my hands and to get as much practice in as possible.

These should do the job nicely! Especially when I pop that Bull Elk through the front shoulder at TWO HUN'ERT YARDS!

Went out with the AK47 and my CVA Wolf to get it dialed in the best I could. The AK was for some fun as well as getting to use the laser so I could see the target with the Wolf LOL. Works great.

Hand rubbed Truoil. Once completelu dry "Normallu 4 to 5 days'' I then take 0000 steel wool and soak it in boiled linseed oil and LIGHTLY buff it to the desired finish I am looking for.
