Default That makes it a trio.

A new rifle just came via Fed Ex today. My wife bought it for me for my birthday. It's a Traditions .45 caliber Deerhunter.
I have to admit that I didn't even know that Traditions made the Deerhunter model in a .45 caliber until about a week ago. I check out their specials all the time and saw it there a week and a half ago. I had NEVER seen a .45 caliber Deerhunter on their web site, anywhere.
Anyway, that makes it a trio of Traditions Deerhunter rifles for me now. A .32 caliber, a .45 caliber, and a .54 caliber.
Only one more to go, the .50 caliber.
She hasn't sinned yet, but that's going to happen, I'm certain of it.
I have to get a scope, base and rings for it.

Nice Pluckit. Those Deerhunters have pleasing lines to my eyes. We'll be looking forward to the first range report. You'd best hang on to that wife of yours.

I have the Tupperware .50 percussion, damn nice rifle. I'm currently testing the .451 Hornady 230gr XTP bulltes and everything looks promising so far, tested it up to 75 meters and it gives 1" groups with factory sights. I now have the devilish idea to fit a 4x32 scope and see if the groups cant go smaller.
Nice rifle with a wooden stock though, I would have liked one myself.

Very nice looking rifle. Those Traditions traditional rifles are good rifles. I have a couple of them and all of them are good shooters.

I'm sure the original mountain men would have use tupperware if it was available at the time.

I love wood, but sometimes you need to be practical.

They would have preferred a 30-30 lever action.
