Default Encore 45 range day

I was at our VA farm for a multi purpose weekend. Turkey hunting-bass fishing-food plot maintenance and grass cutting. All yeah the Encore 45 tagged along. I started off at 100 yards using 180g XTP's and 200g Shock waves. Both ended up producing nice groups. Then finished up with a few Lehighs again tight group. It seems the longer distance shooting is all rage so I set up what I thought was 150 yards. But after range finding the target and the angle compensation factor it ended up being 143 yards. The 777 powder I was using has to be 3 years old and stays at the farm in the gun safe. I only had a few shots left in the bottle so decided to go with the Lehighs. At almost a dollar a piece I didn't want to waste them. The gun is sighted in 1" high at 100 so the first 2 I held 3'' high. And as you see they tore one hole just right but at 3" high. The next 3 were held dead at the white square 1" high. For my money the Encore's are the best guns available period. Both mine shot awesome.

Very nice groups. We should get together and do some shooting some time.

Mine shoots like that also, but since some one doubted what I was posting and was CS to meet me for a dollar a shot so I could prove how well it shoots I quit posting my targets. The fact that they did not believe that a bench shooter that has won state championships could get those kind of groups out of the best gun on the market tells me what level they are at and since they act that way I am not willing to help them become better.

Heck fire, Lee. Don't let one doubter stop you from posting targets! I believe you.

Nice shooting Jaybez! You got a winner.

TCprohunter... they must have gotten lucky with the hinge pins.
Lee.... even T/C can produce a few guns that shoot okay. My only hopes is a bolt action T/C to tighten up our groups
