Default I should have known better.

Went in to a different gun shop yesterday. One I go to when I need reloading supplies because his prices are the lowest for powder, bullets, etc. He didn't have what I needed so I had to place an order for next week. But then I got to looking on the gun rack. Something caught my eye. I am a sucker for old lever rifles. Within minutes I had my hands on a Puma M92, silver receiver and forend tip with a nice walnut stock, 24" blued octagon barrel, full length magazine, .44 mag. Checked the price tag and asked for the paperwork to start filling it out. I have about 1000 44s loaded up with light loads and lead bullets which will be perfect for playing with this neat rifle. Can't wait to take it out tomorrow. And I just may get my over powder wads in the mail today for the .54 flinter. So I may get to shoot both tomorrow.

When you can.. post a picture of that. My friend bought a Henry Lever Rifle in .44 mag. What a nice rifle. And very accurate also.

ask and you shall receive. I don't know why the receiver looks blued. I guess its from the flash on the camera. But its actually silver as is the forend tip and butt plate.
