Yesterday morning I headed out on a Turkey hunt, got to setup spot and had to fight the elk for the spot i wanted - wish they would be there in ny hunting season..

Muley I have often wondered about the calendar thing, but in addition to the calendar I am positive they have space ships also... or maybe ET takes them home with him for awhile...

I dont swab but every 4 shot or so, I also use a Moist Windex Patch. I also carry a Nipple Pic that is just the right size of the flash Hole on My BP, I remove it and clean out the hole. But I also dont shoot that many shots at the range, this is only if I get a new MLer or put on a new scope. I always use the same bullet, powder and primer so if I do shoot just to shoot it's to check to make sure everything is ok.
I also have another BP on hand just in case I need it, I've never needed it yet but it's always there just in case.
You can tell if all of a sudden things dont work right, and if you get a hang fire you know it's time to clean the BP. Dont let these little things worry you, just shoot and have fun. After a while you and your MLer will be one and you'll know it inside and out.
