Default Tenn Mtn Rifle Goex load

Had some trouble with Goex 2f the last time out. Horrible fouling with 90gr goex and it would just start throwing them all over the place.

Today i changed 2 things, lowered my charge to 80gr goex 2f, lubed wad, 250gr REAL conicals @ 100 yards. And I started using a little extra lube around the sides of the wads. Adding that extra lube helps greatly and i felt it take "bite" in the rifling as i pushed the wad down on top of the powder before loading the conical.

3 shot group @ 100 yards with the new sights. Bulls eye is 3" Diameter. Next time i will go back to 90gr and see how she does with those extra lubed wads.

That's truly excellent with REALs Devil. Great iron sight shooting too.

Great shooting with the iron sights. I shoot a lot of REAL conicals but never found them to be a "dependable long range" projectile. 50 yards and under.. deadly. 75 yards still pretty good. But after they they seem to float on me. Which is not a problem since I never shoot that far. But that is some real good shooting there.

I have to agree. That is great 100 yard shooting for any open sighted rifle let alone a sidelock ML. But I really would wish you wouldn't post anymore of the targets you shoot with that rifle! Every time you do, I kick my self in the butt for getting rid of it.

That would be a good group with a scope.

Shes accurate alright.

I kinda was sad when shot 3 went to the high right " closest to the bulls eye" those first 2 shots were making me smile real goofy like LOL.

POI is perfect so i will not touch anything on it. I am moving onto the renegade now and most likely will buy the same sights for it as well. Just finished using flitz in the bore. Man thats some good stuff! JB Bore paste doesn't make'em shine like that Flitz.
