have a vintage 1992 thunderhawk, does well with 2-3 pyro pellets and about any quality saboted bullet, you don't need a special wrench to remove the nipple I did have to make a wrench once I switched mine over to musket caps.
the first day I hunted with mine

the next year

It now wears a burris 3x9 FFII with the BDC reticle, have taken deer to 286 yards with it.
