Read a article online yesterday which stated Knight would be offering the KP1 in .50 cal,non "interchangeable" barrels sometime in may. i can honestly say of all the break action offering made by knight in the past,this was there best looking design.if they indeed offer this rifle i hope they have solved the trigger and firing pin problems and it wouldn't hurt to ad a bit of a Schnabel to the rather square looking fore stock. most of all i would hope they addressed the weight of this 8 lb rifle by using a alloy frame and not steel, in order to reduce weight.

I heard they were going to offer it again but hadn't heard any sort of time frame to it. I almost bought one several times, but every time I would pick one up I couldn't get over the weight. If they can fix the problems with it I might be very interested.
