Default Any Suckers Out There?

Here's a chuckle.

I was scrolling through the Gunbroker.com auction site and ran across an auction for a "Thompson center clean out plug HAWKEN RENEGADE TC" with a minimum starting bid or $8.99.

Check it out: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...Item=274786964

Perhaps the ad should contain the following statement: If you don't want to spend twenty-cents for this item at your local hardware, this may be for you.

It was told to me that once, there used to be a wrench that removed the very early vintage breech plugs from Thompson Center Hawken and Renegade rifles. My understanding is they used to be able to be removed. Why, I have no idea. So maybe this was a replacement part for that.

He says it comes from TC. It probably cost him $15.00.

After all. It's a TC part.

It's not that Cayugad. It's the socket head clean out screw for the bolster.

Yeah Sharpsshooter, you might get lucky and get it for the minimum bid of $8.99 and opt for the $3.70 First Class shipping rather than the $6.00 priority.

Like P.T. Barnum said "There's a sucker born every minute"...apparently that seller is banking on that statement.
