Default how hard would it be???

I was wondering how hard it would be to try and fit a Lyman 57 peep sight on an Omega. I've tried the williams sights and much prefer the Lyman. Anybody ever tried to put one on an Omega

If you have a milling table on a drill press, the right size drill and taps and a set of blind taps and know how to use it all on small blind holes its no problem. Try it free hand and you willmost likely be sorry.

I use a NECG peep on my wolverine, which is i dedicated conical shooter. thay come with 2 apertures,2 discs so you don't need to replace front site and are fully elevation and windage adjustable.

Hey! it is really not often that Builder and I agree that much anymore - but I think he really has thought you might want to look in to.

The peep would fit right on the scope rail that is on the Omega...

Problem... They are out of the model for the Weaver style base and it will be up to 12 weeks before they will build them again. But a vendor like Midway might have them.

Midway is out as well as Brownells...

But, I do now that NECG is planning on a run - but it might be just before hunting season...

Checked out the necg sight and ran across the XS ghost ring sight for weaver base . I decided to give that a try. There is even a longer post ghost ring if need be.

E Arthur Brown makes a peep sight on a weaver rail that fits encore and omega. You can put a scope in font of it. it is called a Peep rib
