Default Gotta Buy A Traditional M/L Gun

For many years Ft. Sill had a two week long black powder deer season with no restrictions on type of muzzleloader. That will change this year.

Beginning this year, the first week of black powder deer season will be limited to traditional muzzleloaders only. Projectiles will be limited to round ball or conical bullets, no sabots allowed. No pellets allowed. Inlines may be used during the second week.

Really don't want much: i'm looking for a short barreled left hand conventional muzzleloader.

Not really a short barrel, but it was a super deal.

Short barrel.. left hand.. look at the Lyman DeerStalker. They are a 24 inch barrel and very good shooters. Or the Trade Rifle, but then you get into a longer barrel.

Listen to the very good advice from Cayugad.

Ditto! My bro in law has that exact gun (LH deerstalker)
I would agree that its a great gun...his is a tack driver with the Lyman peep on it.

I really like them, in fact...its on my wish list (problem is, there's a few that are in front of it!)

I've tried to find a LH Deerstalker, but all I come up with are flintlocks.

Thanks, folks: Will be looking at the recommended guns.

It's not the state-just Fort Sill.
