I've always wanted the Pedersoli Rocky Mountain Hawken in maple, but no LH model. :(

Could you convert an encore 45-70 barrel yourself or would you have to send it out .

I don't know.

How does it shoot? Does it shoot straight, far? Do you like the illuminated reticle?

Over the last 60 years I have owned and shot all styles and all the calibers that are commen if I could only have two the 54 Hawken & Triumph would be the sort.

Ron, I haven't shot it yet. I'm still waiting on my rifle forend, scale, and powder. I just received my barrel back and had to throw it all together to see what it will look like. All I have done with the scope so far is had it mounted and looked through but so far I love the thing!

I'm loving it too Chad!!!

Just keeping it in neutral waiting to see you and C's range reports!:fighting0007:

I already have that one , that's why I thought about the missouri river hawken. The Rocky Mt is nice but doesnt shoot any better than my GPR.
