I'm 35 been hunting with muzzle loader for 6 years now. My first was a TC hawkens in .54 killed my first whitetail with it. I now hunt with a tradition inline .50 killed my first elk with a muzzle loader this year. I love that you can draw a tag every year and dont have to contend with all the other huntes. Centerfire rifles are for just shooting targets now. Looking at getting a .36 or .32 for shooting squirls now.

Just turned 61. Still have the mind of a 24 year old. It says, "Looks like fun, go for it" but the body says "Stay on the porch" Got first ML ten years back, nice little Omega 45 cal. As a bd present, bought myself a TC Endeavor. Getting over a little heart attack from a week and half ago. Can't wait to get back outside and do more experimenting with my four ML's

I'm 69 soon to be 70 years old. I firmly believe that squirrel hunting with a 32 cal muzzle loader is about the most fun a grown man can have with all his clothes on. I've been shooting ML'ers since 1975.

I will be 70 this year, shot my first ML last year. I have a Investarm Hawken, like Cabellas sells in 50 cal. Beautiful gun and lots of fun, it is a slow twist(60"). I have yet to hunt deer with it, I have not worked up a good load, altho a 240 grain Hornady PA conical over 80 grains of Pyrodex shoots good enough to do the job. I do hunt deer with traditional firearms and like them too.
