Since we are all avid outdoorsmen, I thought you guys might like to see this. They showed this to the classes at my kids school...a live webcam of a pair of Bald Eagles on a nest in Davenport, IA. Pretty neat stuff, I just saw them swap out a little bit ago - they are taking turns sitting on the eggs!
I love seeing these birds...we see quite a few (both Bald's and Golden's) at our hunting property in WV. The most I've ever seen was 5 at one time. Awesome birds. Enjoy

Amazing where they put web cams now days. Where I live, we have lots of eagles also. Bald Eagles, and I have seen one Golden Eagle many years ago. They are sure a magnificent bird to watch. Although around here, normally they are being pestered by tiny birds that dive bomb them.
We also have a web cam inside a bear den. Jewel the mother bear had two cubs and they are noisy little buggers. This is out of the Duluth MN Northland New Center if you want to search for it. Surprising... the bear is not really asleep like you think of when you think hibernate. She and the cubs are awake, alert, and doing bear things. But still in the den. Although if this warm weather holds.. they might come out early this year. That is a bad thing. Because their food source is not fully developed. So they come around homes then.

Alcoa is right up the river from the Rock River Arsenal, we used to watch 15 to 30 Eagles fishing below the arsenal dam. They are a quite a sight about this time of year the main part of the river is usually frozen and the eagles concentrate below the dam where they can still catch fish.

I was standing along the Mississippi River in Illinois in late December about 10 years ago. There must of been at least a 100 eagles flying over the water. In NC you are lucky to see one or two a year. It was amazing to see them.

A buddy and I was out goose hunting last weekend and saw 4 bald eagles eating on a snow goose carcass. I have seen two together at a time, but never 4 untill last weekend. Two were adults and two juveniles. Was a nice site to see.
