I did this shooting yesterday. I was shooting from 160 yards and it took some time dialing in. Boy the warm VS Cold barrel really comes into play at this range. After I shot a couple groups to make sure accuracy was there as well as to center it up. I went to help my brother change some tires on the truck. Came back and fired shot #7 on a cold barrel. Good grief! Went back to help with the tires again, came back and took another shot on a cold barrel " after adjusting of course". She really likes the cold barrel.
Shots 9 & 10 with 10 minutes between shots.

This Accura V2 has a $30 Barska scope on it and has thick cross hairs which make pin point accuracy almost impossible. But shes grouping great and consistent so it will stay on the V2.
100gr Blackhorn209, 250gr Powerbelt Aerolite, CCI 209 M primers.

Yeah its deff. a good load for her. I just sighted in the Apex with the same load. 60 yard sight in right now but i think i got her high enough to be darn close at 160. Bullets kept hitting the same hole so i stopped. Made some shims for the breech plug yesterday and 100% blow by free with cci mag primers.

One I have My Accura V1 sighted in I'll shoot a 5 shot group at 200yds. I take my time and Im in no hurry, the group is usually 2"+- and one time I'd of had a 1" group had I not got too excited in seeing the first 4 shots touching.
I also do most of my shooting when the weathers cool or cold, 30 degrees and below. Plus I always feel my barrel to make sure it's not hot or warm but semi warm and closer to cool as I know when Im hunting it will be cold so I want to duplicate the same situation when I'll be hunting on a cold day and shooting my first shot on a cold barrel. I also find my Accura will shoot the first shot on a clean cold barrel just where Im sighted in for and the next one will be right on too, along with the next 3 as long as I swab the barrel after the 3'd shot.
I have yet to get a V2 and dont know if I ever will as I still have 2 V1's and a brand new in the box V1 just waiting for me.....I Love the V1

Scope is the $30 shipped Barska HuntMaster 3-9x40.
That bulls eye is 1.5" DIA but with those thick cross hairs in the scope you just leave a slight corner "That's why not shots are slightly to the right" visible and hope for the best. A great scope for hunting but for pin point accuracy, Not a chance.
