I was bit worried about the hammer flying off and hitting me in the face but Dixie still has not sent my hammer screw out and so I had to go my usual route and take a chance.
Took the Renegade project out to the 60 yard line and set up my bag rest.
80gr Pyrodex RS, CCI #11 Mag caps, 250gr Powerbelt Aerolite.

Seriously Ray, I may get bored with it REAL quick LOL. Next time I shoot it I will go out with the 320gr REAL bullets and sight it in for those.

I actually am working out a deal for a .54 renegade.
I'll take the lock into town next time and see what i can come up with, or put out a wanted ad on the forums.

have a look around the auction sites, they always have a bunch of misc parts for sidelocks on them.a .54 1;28 or RB barrel would be fun.and then there's the 50 and .45 cal barrels also.swap them in and out.

Well for this one, i have a 54cal barrel blank fitted with a tc breech plug. I want the 54 strictly for round balls. Once i get that 54 barrel and do all the work to mount it to the stock, the .50cal barrel most likely will get cut down to 19" for a small brush gun.
I just took 3 shots again at 60 yards with the 300gr sabertooth conicals with 80gr Pyrodex rs... Went to the target to take a look and just shook my head.. A nice 8" horizontal group.
I don't know about those bullets, they are one that truly has me stumped.
