Why does the flintlock require a duplex load of T7?
T7 is harder to light than black. Just like Pyrodex. Hard to light with a flinter consistently.

duplex load start with 5-10 gr black then top it off with T7, Pyrodex or whatever.

Ahh, I understand. Could you use fffg w/out duplexing?
My intention is to photo/post targets but...in looking through them today, though, it does seem my groups are shrinking. Now, some of that ma be familiarity w/ the rifle but I'll tell you these GPRs just fit, don't they?!

They sure do for me. My GPR is the best hanging rifle I've ever handled, muzzleloaders and cartridge combined.

I'll stick with the black for the flinters and keep the t7 for my Omega. A little swabbing here and there is no big deal for me.
