This is my White Blacktail that is SS with Black Ice coating. Black ice does scratch and will wear off in the breech area from ignition. I agree with Dave and hunt with it the way it is.

WV Hunter, it costs $145 to get a muzzleloader coated.

That's a good-looking gun, Nim. Something about matte black and grey laminate does it for me. Bet it's a good shooter, too.

quake, its not my most accurate White but she is a great shooter and I love that grey laminated stock.

Nope the trigger isn't that good on that rifle. Alot of take up and creep. Of course a funky crow probably dosen't help much.
