Default Generic CDS Dial

A couple three days ago, i realized i haven't been shooting bullet from the stash of 270g Deep Curl. So, i figured i ought. Then i realized i had no CDS dial made for the 270g Deep Curl, and sat down to order one from Leupold Custom Shop. Before i made the order, i examined the ballistic of the 270g Deep Curl, and the ballistic of the 300g Deep Curl.

That is when i realized the cds dial for the 300g Deep Curl would work just fine with the 270g Deep Curl. It seems this same cds dial may work for other bullet too, but i haven't looked any further. This 'generic' cds dial did save me $90.

You know Ron, I think it will work just fine. Not saying you can't but if you can hold your bullets to within .35" at 250 yds with you ML then you're da man!

Yesterday i shot the rifle-scope-cds dial at 200 yard in a stiff breeze. The dial was set at 2. Today, the dial was set to 1 when i shot the targets pictured in the flash hole thread. Seems to me, it worked just fine, as the ballistic chart predict it should.

Seems you think i can't hold 1/3" at 250 yard. What if the wind was blowing strong across, and the grass was waist deep, and the ground was muddy, rocky, and steep?

Truth be told, i couldn't hold 1/3" at 250 yard off a concrete bench with a Bulls Bag, on a day with zero breeze.
