Hello to everyone,
I have a chance to buy a 56 cal. T.C. smoothbore barrel. I am wanting to be able to interchange with my 54 cal. T.C Renegade rifle.
Need to locate a rear sight for it as the seller states that the original is missing. Is it the same sight as the rear sight on my Renegade or is it different? Where can one find the proper rear sight if I need to purchase one/
Thanks for all replies.

The rear sight depends on which front sight you have. There are two different front sights used, that I know of on the Renegade. The patridge style (Blade) and a bead style. I am pretty sure on the .56 you will have the patridge style. So the rear sight should have a square notch in it to match up with the front blade. If it is a bead style front, then the rear sight should have a narrow notch as the rear sight sweeps down in an arc on both sides of the notch. All Renegades are 1" across the flats, so make sure the rear sight you get is for a 1" barrel, and not a 15/16" which most T/C Hawkens are. I have seen both of these sights on Ebay from time to time.
