I hunted with 370 grain Maxi Balls, which I consider to be big, with a 1:48 inch twist for over 20 years. Then came the inlines and 1:28 inch twist. I have no desire to sacrifice the extended range of sabots without the major amount of drop, for the destruction of both the deer and my shoulder, of big lead.
