Default an shock from another forum

I was going to break my silence after my range session next week with my flinter, but i was reading on another forum. this guy painted an camo stock CVA HunterBolt Magnum 50cal metallic BLUE. I am saving up for an new 45cal m/ler. but I am thinking about making an offer on the gun just to redo the stock and resale to break even.

what should I offer this guy? I think you can pick those rifles up for around $100 or so used.

My opinion a $100. is too much for a used Hunterbolt.
My first muzzle loader was a Hunterbolt Mag. I paid $179. for it.
2 barrels 45 & 50 Cal. Camo stock & nickel barrels.

blow back & trigger pull is terrorable.
It will shoot decent groups though.

Now dont underestimate the Hunter Bolt Mag, i know it's a CVA....but that Baby can shoot a Mag Load of 150grs and is Accurate as Heck. I sold Mine to My Brother In Law and Wish I never did, I probably would'nt have used it much anymore because of My ACCURA, but for the Money It did'nt owe Me a Dime and took some Nice Deer for the Freezer for Me.
If you can get it for $100 I'd buy it, Im sure the Paing Job will come of with a little Laquer thinner.

read a little more on that thread, he is going to keep it.

I have no problem with cva's. I have win apex aka cva kodiak, and love it. was going to just buy the thing, may have just put a few rounds down range. stripped the paint and sold it just to get my money back.
