Default First day of deer season tomorrow

Well, tomorrow is the first day of deer season here in PA. I have 2 anterless tags and no room in my freezer. Looks like I'm going to let this season pass and hopefully I can eat enough bison and venison so I can stuff a fat doe in there come PA's primitive (flintlock) season which starts after Christmas. I like that season better anyway. Snow, few hunters. Just a fun time with the rock lock.

Canned Venesion done in the Pressure Cooker is Good Too, add some Cubed Meat, Onions and Potatoes and Carrots and Pressure Cook, a good quick Meal over Rice or Noodles, or just Pressure Cook the Venesion and add nothing or whatever you like.
This will be Me Fist Year in awhile to Not Hunt The First Monday after Thanksgiving in PA. This Season is the first time were allowed to Hunt with a Rifle in NY in our County so most of the Guys opted to not go and stay here this year. I know You guy's in PA are Growing Some Awsome Bucks with your Antler Restrictions and it would be nice to go and have a chance at one of them Bucks. But with Temps in the Low 60's and NO Snow it just does'nt feel like Opening Day time in PA, so were NOT going Tomorrow, it's only a 20 minute drive for us to the PA Line.
I know what it's like to have a FULL Freezer, it's a good feeling but I just need to still be out there Hunting with My Buddys as no matter if the Freezer is full or not I always save My Buck Tag for the Big One, the Wife helps to fill the Freezer so I get to slide a little and save My Buck Tag.

Nope, I'm waiting for flinter season. Besides, I am going to visit my two real trophies in FL. My twin grandsons. They are almost 6 mos old now and I haven't seen them in 4 months. Going to be gone for 2 whole weeks.
Another thing is the weather here. Today, the first day, 63*! That aint deer hunting weather. Might as well break out the sunscreen and take a nap.
