Default 2011 long range Desert Mule Deer

I took this nice 11 pt. Desert Muley with my Knight Mountaineer at 208 yds. All that practice and trusting in the accuracy & long-range capability of Knight rifles payed off again. I hit him with only a small window of aim in a thick forest of Mesquite. The bullets slammed clean through and dropped him in his tracks.
If Knight can work out issues with their way-to-tight breech plugs, they might well have the best inline rifle out there.

That's a dandy Jim.

What state are you hunting. That terrain is unfamiliar to me.

Nice Buck and Good Shot!
If you Practice, Practice and Practice More and have the right combination and a good ML it can be done regularry.
I have'nt taken one past 200 yet but with My ACCURA, to date I have had 2 Perfect Lung Shots and 2 Hear Shots at 177, 180, 174 and 185yds. And all were complete Pass Throughs. I Thank Bergarra Barrels Mostly for this.
