Question How Far After Penetration?

I shot a Doe quartering away at 40 yards with a 250gr. sabot with 2 50gr. pellets. It took out her liver and left lung passing through the left rib cage area missing the shoulder. How far do you think that round traveled after exiting her? She weighed about 130 lbs

No tree to stop it,she was in the open down hill. The reason I asked the question is because many of you have technical knowledge that is impressive concerning ML and their performance levels. I figured some of you have set up targets and done test on various combinations of powder and bullets and how well they penetrate various targets thats all.

Nobody could know the answer. Too many variables to consider.

It probably went all the way to where it stopped. That would be my best guess.

Good question ~ Hunter Safety knowing your target and beyond! However I can answer it. One way to look for the spent round is whit a metal detector.
