Default Where does Time Go!

Hey Guy's
Ya OL Breechplug is still Kicken, been real busy getting everything done for Winter, finished Harvesting our Grapes a few weeks back and now Im ready to talk BP and Hunting. I know that's No Excuse but time seems to go by Faster as we get Older and we never seem to catch up or do the things we should.
Our Bow Season is almost over, if that's what you want to call it. The RUT has been Non Existent with our Record Warm Temperatures and Wind the Deer just ar'nt moving. I did have 1 shot at a Buck that I've been watching for the past 2 years but Murphy stepped in and at 17yds broadside after I stopped Him with a Mouth Bleat the Big 10 Pointer just jumped up after My Arrow struck a small Branch I never saw and walked away. I guess I better take My Wifes Advice and get My Eyes checked, I'll be 50 this Dec 31st.
Our BIG Deal for this Gun Season (starts next Saturday) is we can now use Rifles to Hunt Deer, and I now can walk out My Door and shoot Deer in My Yard with a Rifle, but I opted Not to Use one. You thought My Hunting Buddies thought I was Crazy to only use a ML for our Gun Season well now they think Im really NUT's!
I did go out and sight in My Grand Dad's Browning 30-06 with the Guy's yesterday, but mostly to show them I am capable to shoot one I'll let you all know later in the Season if I made the right Choice or not, but I just Love My ML, My Buddies made Me sign My Name to our Annual Deer Contest as ( Jim Shockey)
My Wife Connie has had 2 Surgeries on Her Wrist but She will Hunt this Season but cant use Her Accura V1, it's too Heavy, She say's anyway so I sighted in Her CVA Kodiak Pro with a Bushnell Dusk to Dawn Scope 3X9 in Mossy Oak Camo to match the Kodiak's Mossy Oak Obsession Camo Pattern. She'll be shooting a 240gr XTP Powered by 90grs of Pyrodox RS. It's Deadly Accurate with that Load and She seems to shoot it well. Im still not convinced that the Kodiak is Lighter than the ACCURA but you know Women.
Im still shooting My ACCURA V1 Realtree Camo with a 240gr XTP and 110gr's of Pyrodox RS with the Leupold Ultimate Slam ML Scope.....you know Me I wont change anything if it's not Broke so if I Dont have anything NEW to add to much on here it's because Im CHEAP and wont Buy Anything New ( That's what My Wife Connie says) But you know Women they have to Buy something New Every Week or there not Happy.
But I'll tell you one thing, this Season Ol Breechplug's gonna lay out the Red Carpet on all the Deer Tags I have to Fill as Next Season our DEC had Cut Down Our Deer Tags. We now get 2 Tags for Bow or ML Season, a Buck Tag and a Either Sex Tag, plus we get a Buck Tag and up to 2 DMP Tags ( Deer Management Tags) for Does ONLY in the County you chose them for. Also we can use ALL the Tags if Unfilled during our Gun Season or Bow Season in our Late ML Season. So usually each Hunter can shoot up to 2 Bucks and 3 Does each Season.
Next Season the DEC will give each Hunter Only 1 Buck Tag, if you shoot a Buck in Bow Season your DONE for GUN and ML Season unless you get a Doe Tag, and there also cutting down on the Doe Tags Big Time. The Hunters are Fighting this now as there's NO Shortage of DEER here so we'll have to see what happens..........
So Im gonna be a Muzzleloading Deer Killing Machine this Season and so will My Wife.
Again there's No Excuse for Me not being on the Forum so give it to me if you must. I've Missed Everyone and Hope you all Missed Me.

Funny you shoud mention that, right now the Winds are Blowing at about 40mph, I've never seen such a Warm Windy Rainy Fall. Guess I'll sleep in in the Morning and not go Bow Hunting, nothing ruins your stand more than Windy Swirling Winds. Looks like this comming Thursday will be Cold and Snow Flurries then back to Warm Wind and Rain. If Im gonna get My last good crack at a Bow Buck it'll be then. Saturday's our Gun Opener. I looked over My Notes for the last 10 years Plus and early December is when I have My Best Luck with Deer, so I'll have some time to get My Deer befor it all ends just befor Christmas. Breechplug Always Get's His Deer.
Oh remember guy's HUNT from 11 to 2 pm if you want them BIG BOY's, that's when the Deer Move the Most, that's the Only Advice I can offer and Remember to Thank Me for it after you get what your after.
