Sat is the opening day for gun season here in Missouri and I finally get to aim at something other than paper(hopefully)!!
I've got the Mountaineer ready with a 120 grains of BH 209 and Winchester primers pushing a 300 grain Lehigh out of a MMP orange sabot. I've so far just got 2 doe tags and 1 buck tag purchased. Our muzzleloader season isn't until the middle of December so if I don't fill the buck tag, I will hold it until then. Headed out to the northern part of the state in the morning, just about 65 miles from the Iowa line. My bow season has not been that good this year, I've only put 2 does in the freezer and the shooter bucks have been safe so far!! Well I hope to end that this weekend. Good luck to all!!
