CVA Wolf gets her done....
I just wanted to say that I was sighting in my Traditions pursuit the weekend prior to our Va. muzzleloader season and the dang trigger assembly messed up on me. I knew that I only had the one day to get things right so I packed up the traditions and headed to Gander Mnt. I ended up buying a CVA Wolf for under $200, transferred the scope from my traditions over to the wolf while sitting at the range and dialed in the Wolf in about two hours. I went out on opening day and shot a pretty 180lbs seven pointer that was making a scrape about a 100 yards in front of my stand. I used the same 110gr of BH209 powder, CCI209M primer and Barnes 250gr T-EZ bullets as I was using in the Traditions. The buck was angled towards me just a little and the bullet hit the front shoulder at an angle and lodged in the flank meat behind the other shoulder and never exited. There was no blood trail to follow, but the buck only went 80yds and his heart and both lungs were gone. That barnes did one hell of a job. On the following Monday I took a small four pointer at 100 yds. THANKS CVA for making an affordable hunting weapon. It sure saved my season as I have had no shots during archery.

Congrats! My $100 Wolf keeps shooting and shooting great! I just bought a newer one with the new breach design this summer but haven't shot it yet. Some folks knock the CVA's but some of us know...........

Some people will knock anything. CVA guns are good guns, and very accurate.
Speaking of knocking something. The other day I had this guy telling me how stupid and ugly my Jeep was.
I told him i'd agree with him if he could follow me to my hunting areas with his SUV. He walked away.
