How long after shooting can you wait to clean a BP rifle?

I fire a couple of primers off before loading the first load. I don't see much difference in any load after that.

Well the guns are cleaned and reloaded. Seems the Knight did ok without being cleaned for 60 hours. Will make sure I don't do that again. Now I can't wait to get back in the field.
