Lyman Super Moly comes in a spray can too IIRC.

I actually use Bore Butter for my large conicals. Just put a pinch between your fingers, and rub your fingers together. The heat will warm up the bore butter and make it very soft. Then I just rub a little bit on my bullet as I am loading it in the rifle. Works great, and not much of a mess.

I also size my bullets but on my BP bullets I do not lube them in the lubri-sizer. I just apply a touch of Bore Butter at the time of shooting.

I do, but I use the lee push thou. when I am shooting bare full bores. at least for my 45cal. I dip my bullets in my lube let it dry and cool, then run the bullet though the sizer to get the extra lube off. it is about the only way i been happy with an getting my 45cal minnies to lube like I want them.

of course, I have to clean the sizer after.

I was busting chops on the Lyman.

Here's one method that seems to work pretty good.

Set all the bullets in a pan. Then heat up the lube (SPG is good), and pour it in the pan to cover the groves on the bullet. Let it cool, and the bullets pluck right out.

Muley I have lubed alot of bullets like that before. I do my pan lubing in the oven. Just get a small cookie sheet. Stand up all your bullets on the sheet. Set your oven as low as it goes. Then put a couple of sticks of lube on the tray. It will melt and coat the bullets. Take the tray out of the oven and put it in the fridge for a short time. Then take the pan out of the fridge and let it sit at room temperature. Then take the bullets off the pan. I rub off the excess with my fingers.

Take a sheet of saran wrap and cover the tray and store. When you want to lube some more bullets just use the same tray so you don't waste your excess lube. Tom.

Yes, and I forgot to add. When you do more bullets you can just put them in the holes left by the previous bullets. Then as you say. Add some more lube as it's melting to make up for what the first batch of bullets used. And so on and so on.:D
