Boy it must be nice to have your own property. I'm not jealous, just envious. That would sure beat getting blasted by those cold Dec/Jan winds. Now all you need is someone to go and field dress your deer and get it to your vehicle and load it up for you...
Very nice.
Very nice.
Actually it's not my land just a good friend who owns 65 acres boardered by the Shawnee Forrest. We've hunted together for a long time. He'll get more use out of it because he hunts with a crossbow during the archery season. He and his wife are just good people and allow me to share their property to firearm hunt.

The tall side of the blind is 6ft tall. I'm 6ft 5" so the windows were set at a height were I can sit on a adjustable stool and rest my forearm on the window ledge. Thanks

Oh yeah me too I still have tree stands I use. This is mainly for foul weather and my friend who owns the property is older. He and his wife owns the property and is boardered by the Shawnee Forrest. They are both getting up there in age and both hunt, just my way of saying thanks to them for letting me enjoy their property. Im 52 but knows when it's time to get in out of the weather too....

Very nice! Me and the landowner where I hunt are building an elevated blind in his woods this coming summer. It will make a nice place for his family to hunt and be able to stay out of the elements. I still pretty much brave the elements and hunt from stands, but I do have a pop-up ground blind Ill hunt in if I go out on a rainy day.
